My story

Tomas has come such a long way — and now he’s ready to find the loving forever home he’s always deserved.This gentle boy came to us from a severe hoarding and abandonment case in Yuma, where he didn’t get the care or attention every dog should have. Despite his rough start, Tomas’s kind spirit has never faded. After spending a few weeks in a loving foster home, his fosters couldn’t say enough good things about him!Tomas can be a little reserved at first, but with patience and kindness, he blossoms into a sweet, affectionate dog who truly thrives on human attention. Since he hasn’t had much experience out in the world, he’ll need a family who can help him slowly build confidence and discover that life outside can be full of good things — walks, cuddles, and love.His ideal home will be calm and understanding, giving him time to adjust at his own pace. In return, Tomas will reward you with endless loyalty and love once he knows he’s safe.Tomas has overcome so much, and now it’s his turn to shine.
