Gunner

My story

We took him in off the street in late October of 2023. Vet estimated he was 2-3 years old at the time so that now puts him at 4-5 years old. He has no health issues to my knowledge. He does have some type of small, benign skin growth in his coat that’s barely attached. Vet mentioned I could probably just get a good grip on it with the brush while brushing him and pull it off and just put some type of ointment on it, assuming it doesn’t get ripped off on its own. It doesn’t bother him so I just let it be. It’s not getting any bigger so not too concerned with it. Also up to date on shots and we got him chipped at the vet. He wasn’t neutered when we took him in, but he Is neutered now. He is a sweet, but very protective and dominant male. Unfortunately, he isn’t friendly with our cat. We have only had him around one other dog (in a controlled environment) since we took him in and he didn’t like it but was easily kept in check by me but friendly with neighbors dog that gets out regularly.
