My story

ALL ABOUT ME Name: Baekdo Age: 7 months old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Mini Jindo Mix Colour: White Weight: 9kg / 20lbs Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Microchipped, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY Hi, I’m Baekdo — a petite, snow-white Mini Jindo mix with a gentle heart and resilient spirit. I was rescued from a neglected dog farm, where life was uncertain and care was lacking. One of my legs was injured, and I needed surgery to heal properly. But thanks to kind rescuers, I’m now fully recovered, safe, and ready to begin my life with a forever family who will love and protect me.   MY HEALTH Vaccination History: • 2025-08-29 – DHPPi / Coronavirus • 2025-09-25 – DHPPi / Coronavirus / Kennel Cough   Surgery: • 2025-09-18 – Tibial tuberosity growth plate fracture (successfully recovered)   Other Info: • No ongoing health concerns   MY PERSONALITY I’m a soft, gentle pup who’s still learning that the world can be safe and kind. I can be a little timid in unfamiliar situations, and when I’m unsure, I tend to lower my body or flatten down. But once I feel secure, I open up into a sweet, affectionate companion who loves soft voices, treats, and tender attention. I’m very small for my age, which makes me extra adorable — and I’ll happily curl into your arms if you lift me gently.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People: I love meeting new people — especially if they have snacks! I’m easily won over with treats and kind energy. I’m comfortable being held when lifted gently with support under my belly, and I bond quickly with people who treat me gently. With Dogs: I greet new dogs politely and tend to be calm and non-confrontational. I prefer dogs my size or smaller and avoid conflict even when another dog acts up. I don’t usually engage in play yet, but I enjoy being around friendly pups. With Cats: I haven’t had any close encounters with cats, but I do love watching and chasing birds — so a slow, controlled introduction to cats would be best if there’s one in the home.   ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I have a moderate energy level for a puppy — I enjoy walks, gentle play, and exploring new spaces. I do pull a bit on the leash since I’m still getting used to walks, and I might flatten if I get scared. But with patient guidance, I’ll grow more confident each day. I love calm environments where I can relax and feel safe.   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard food from people I may growl if another dog approaches my bowl — I like a little space when I eat I sometimes bark when I want something I’m doing well with potty training — I go outdoors but can also use indoor pads if needed I’m gentle, quiet, and a quick learner who thrives on praise and routine   MY IDEAL HOME I would thrive in a calm, patient home that understands shy dogs and can give me time to adjust. My ideal family would: Provide a gentle and structured environment Take me on calm walks and offer space for quiet indoor lounging Offer soft encouragement, love, and lots of treats Have friendly dogs my size (not required but helpful!) Allow me time to grow into my confidence at my own pace   SPECIAL NOTES I’ve come a long way from my days at the dog farm. With kindness, patience, and gentle guidance, I’ll blossom into the most loyal, loving little companion. I may be small in size, but my heart is huge — and it’s ready to be yours.   Baekdo's YouTube Playlist ##2559296##
