Apollo

My story

Apollo is a super sweet dog. He is good with kids and other dogs once bonded. He is very high energy and definitely needs an experienced adopter, ideally someone with a dog training background. He can nip when scared. He also jumps which I have spent a year trying to break that habit but with an experienced adopter should not be a problem. He is house trained, neutered, and up-to-date on shots and vaccinations. He is not good on a leash but again with an experienced adopter, this behavior could easily change. I have had him in dog training in the past and it’s clear he wants to please. I just cannot keep him because of the biting, the pulling and barking while on a leash, and the jumping. I have an almost 2-year-old daughter who he is very good with but sometimes when he gets too excited I worry that he will knock her over. I’m also just going through a brutal divorce, my dad is sick, and I work full-time. I just do not have the time nor the resources to keep him.
