 ALL ABOUT ME  Name: Marlyn Age: Around 1 year old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Terrier Mix Colour: White & Brown Weight: 11.5kg / 25.3lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY Hi, I’m Marlyn — a tender-hearted terrier mix with a brave story and a hopeful heart. I used to wander the streets, searching for scraps of food and a safe corner to sleep in. Life was uncertain until I was picked up and brought to the city pound. There, I ended up on the euthanasia list because there wasn’t enough space — but fate had other plans for me. Just one day before my scheduled date, kind rescuers stepped in and gave me the gift of a second chance. Now, I’m safe, loved, and ready to find my forever home — a place filled with warmth, comfort, and care.   MY PERSONALITY Despite my rough start, I’m one of the sweetest souls you’ll ever meet. I may seem shy at first, but it doesn’t take me long to show my affectionate side once I know I’m safe. Gentle words and a few tasty treats are all it takes to win my heart. I’m smart, adaptable, and eager to learn — my time surviving on the streets made me resourceful, but my nature is soft and loving. I’m still discovering what it means to play freely and trust completely, and I can’t wait to share that joy with my new family.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People: I can be cautious at first, especially in new environments, but I warm up quickly with kindness. Once I trust you, I’ll lean in for pets and melt into your touch. During my photoshoot, I showed how friendly and gentle I truly am — approaching people calmly and enjoying all the attention. I’m comfortable being picked up and love gentle affection. With Dogs: I’m very dog-friendly and love having other pups to play and explore with! I get along best with dogs my size and enjoy balanced, friendly play. With Cats: I haven’t met cats up close yet, but when I see them during walks, I stay calm and simply watch before moving on. With slow introductions, I could do well in a dog-savvy home with feline friends.   ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I have a balanced energy level — I love exploring the outdoors, going for walks, and sniffing around, but I’m also content to rest quietly after an adventure. A mix of outdoor activity and cozy downtime makes me happiest.   TRAINING & HABITS • Walks well on leash and follows guidance calmly • Not food-aggressive with people or dogs • May bark briefly at strangers but settles quickly • Calm in crate and comfortable resting • Potty-trained for both indoor pads and outdoor potty • Curious, gentle, and eager to please   MY IDEAL HOME I’m looking for a patient and loving family who will help me grow into my confident, joyful self. My ideal home would: • Offer a calm, structured, and secure environment • Be understanding of my past and guide me gently with love • Enjoy outdoor activities and spending time together • Provide consistency, reassurance, and affection as I continue to build trust   SPECIAL NOTES I may have started my life on the streets, but my heart is full of love and hope. I’m still young and full of potential — ready to learn, grow, and give endless affection to the people who choose me. Once I trust you, I’ll be your loyal shadow and lifelong friend, bringing warmth to every moment we share.
