Nala

My story

I found Nala five and a half years ago and took her in just expecting to get her healthy and then find her a loving owner. I didn’t expect that I’d come to love her and keep her for all these years. Now 9-10 years old, Nala is such a sweet, kind, and loving cat. She loves to cuddle and play with her toys. She loves to jump up on the bed and lay belly up when she sees that you’re getting ready to make the bed. She is such a good girl and it breaks our hearts to say goodbye to her, but she has been struggling with adjustments at home, including me not being home as often anymore, and the merging of her and my other cats with my partner’s cat, which has led to her isolating herself and hiding under the bed most of the time. Nala would do best in a home with someone who can be with her for long periods of time (either a retiree, or someone who WFH), where she is the only cat or maybe has one other cat companion, and where she can be fed on a schedule to help her manage her weight.
