My story

Meet Petunia! Petunia is a sweet, goofy girl who brings joy everywhere she goes. She is around 11 months old, and suspected to be a Pit Bull mix. She’s a very unique pup—it’s important to note that she is deaf, but that doesn’t slow her down one bit. In fact, she’s eager to please, making her an excellent buddy to train and learn new tricks with. There are many different ways to communicate and train a deaf dog, and with just a little extra effort, you and Petunia can work together to help her be the very best dog she can be. Petunia is very dog-friendly and loves being part of a group, whether it’s wrestling with a buddy, zooming around the yard, or joining in playtime. Since she thrives on play and companionship, she would do best in a home with another dog—or even more—so she can live her best life doing what she loves: being part of your pack. She also enjoys toys and bones, keeping herself happily entertained, and has adjusted quickly to her new environment. Petunia has even done wonderfully at public events, showing off her friendly, confident nature.
