My story

Meet Bruce! Bruce is a 3 year old Shihtzu that is needing a great new owner. He is very friendly and loves cuddles. His calm demeanor makes him a great pal for other dogs, cats and kids. Bruce has been neutered, is now up to date on his rabies and distemper vaccines, dewormed, negative for heartworm disease and microchipped! You may notice some redness in Bruce's eyes. That is because he has a condition called 'keratoconjuntivitis sicca' which is just a fancy term for dry eye. He will need his eyes lubricated several times a day for the rest of his life. This does NOT require a prescription. Using an over the counter eye lubricant such as artificial tears is sufficient! If you think you can give Bruce a home, please fill out the application at the below link. https://forms.gle/vgq3ygE8s7Lv6gsV9September 6, 2025, 10:12 am

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bruce, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
