My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lola is a perfect, 8 month old, smart, affectionate puppy who needs a new home that is a better match for her puppy energy.  Currently she is in a home with full-time working parents, a 5 year old and a cat.  Her family loves and cares for her and want to see her in a happy and healthy place. She is high energy but she is also a cuddler and a lover.   She is a delightful blend of Shepherd/Husky/Catahoula mix which explains her spirit and intelligence.  Lola would do best in a home with someone who has time to give her lots of outdoor fun, exercise, indoor enrichment and training.  A home with other dogs who like to play, older children and no cats is the ideal. She is enrolled in training classes and her family works with her daily.  She knows recall, with the back of your hand held infront at hip level, SIT, PAW, DOWN and REGROUP (she goes to her mat and stays).  Training is critical to raising a puppy to be a successful family member and should be a regular and ongoing part of every puppy's day.  She is crate trained but always wants to be with her family. She is great around a group of kids. She was at a 5 year old party and did well. She does not live with other dogs but she loves other dogs. If she is not in the mood to play she will walk away, but usually after a normal dog introduction she will squat on her front elbows and bark, wanting to engage in play. The trainers have confirmed she is a gentle player and she even plays with young puppies no bigger than her head, with no problem. She LOVES to play fetch with her bully sticks outside. She loves being outside all the time. Inside she has food puzzles, treat seek and find, treats inside a cardboard box that she can tear up, and frozen Kongs. Lola bonds closely with her people and is eager to please.  With continued guidance and structure, Lola will grow into a loyal, loving, well-mannered companion. She’s the perfect mix of playful puppy energy and sweet-natured affection who is ready to find her forever family.     PLEASE NOTE : THE DOG LISTED IS SHOWN AS A COURTESY TO ANOTHER ORGANIZATION OR FOR AN INDIVIDUAL WHO NEEDS TO FIND A NEW HOME FOR THEIR DOG.
