My story

Scarlet is a truly stunning cat with a gentle soul waiting to shine. Having spent most of her life outdoors, she's now discovering the joys of indoor living, soft beds, warm sunny spots, and the occasional trip up the cat tree. She's currently in a loving foster home, where she's getting the chance to feel safe, grow her confidence, and learn that people can be pretty wonderful. Her foster is absolutely smitten with her, and it's easy to see why.Scarlet likes to take things at her own pace. At first, she may keep her distance, preferring the safety of a cozy hiding spot or high vantage point where she can watch the world (and the birds) go by. But with patience, kindness, and maybe a few of her favorite treats or a sprinkle of catnip, you'll see her sweet, trusting side emerge.Once Scarlet decides you're a friend, she'll bless you with slow blinks, quiet companionship, and the satisfaction of knowing you've earned her trust. She's not clingy, but she'll let you know in her own graceful way when she's ready for affection. If you're looking for a beautiful, independent spirit who will reward your patience with loyalty and quiet love, Scarlet might just be your perfect match. Please reach out to us at 705-325-1304 or orillia@ontariospca.ca if you're interested in adopting Scarlet. Primary Color: Muted Tortoiseshell Secondary Color: Grey Weight: 2.063 Age: 3yrs 1mths 2wks
