With her velvet-soft ears, stunning mismatched eyes, and graceful charm, she’s beauty and presence all rolled into one sweet pup. She’s one of seven Border Collie x Husky puppies we rescued from the euthanasia list, and she’s learning—beautifully—what it means to trust, play gently, and find her place in the world. May is a smart girl, and like many smart puppies, she’s still figuring out how to channel her energy. While she’s been known to jump in assertively around uncertain dogs, we’re seeing a genuine shift in her approach. She’s showing a softer, more thoughtful side—taking cues from the resident house dog, learning new play styles, and discovering the joy in connection. What May needs to thrive:– A home committed to continued socialization and clear guidance– A calm, confident dog friend—or a solo gig with loving humans– Someone to reinforce her growing emotional intelligence with positive reinforcement– A home environment (community living is okay!) where she can keep learning and growing She’s learning to listen, to pull back, and to let her sweetness lead.
