My story

Koba A17685145 lb. neutered male, approx 1 year old -Starts off shy and timid-He enjoys pets and will inch closer and closer for them when he’s comfortable-Eventually he warms up enough and crawls up in your lap-Very sweet, just timid!-He is treat motivated, sits and takes them very nicely-He will on occasion lay down on command as well but still needs a little bit of work with that one-Not currently interested in playing with toys-Walks very nicely on a leash-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper introsUnknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
