My story

Oh, oh, Sheila! Isn't she a beauty! Sheila arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 7/29, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. The volunteers describe Sheila as a lovely lady; very friendly and sweet as sugar! She is smart too and knows several commands including sit, down, and stay. Sheila has some irritated and itchy skin, but this should improve and clear up with a healthy diet and some medicated baths. Sheila is approximately 1.5 years old and weighs 55 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Sheila is waiting patiently in run 805; her ID # is 12331. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
