My story

Brief Bio:Derek is quirky, playful, and a little mysterious. He’s not a fan of being held, but he’ll come to you when he’s ready for love—especially at night, when he likes to climb into bed for some quiet cuddles. He’s easily startled, but give him time and patience, and he’ll show his silly, loving side. He’s the kind of cat who will surprise you with his affection when you least expect it.During playtime, he’ll meow as if he’s scared or needs help, only to ambush his siblings when they come to help.He’s a such a wonderful little guy!Summary of Personality:Derek is very slow to warm up but once he warms up to you, he’ll be asking for pets and cuddles all the time! Even in the middle of the night!He is such a fun, goofy boy once he gets comfortable. He is a bit easily startled compared to his siblings so it’s best to let him come to you until he’s used to you. He’s not aggressive, just a little jumpy!Hes also earned himself the nickname “Pancake Boy” because he likes to lay very flat on the ground sometimes, almost as flat as a pancake.Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc):No experience with children or other animals outside of his siblings.He is already used to a harness and absolutely LOVED exploring the garden. He surprisingly had no fear even with all of the noise from the road nearby.He enjoys both wet and dry food but seems to prefer the dry food. He also enjoys treats on occasion but sometimes prefers to play with them instead.Is your foster litter box trained?: Yes
