My story

Queso, our 4-year-old Chihuahua mix, is a sweet, sweet boy who came to us from an awful case of shelter hoarding. Despite that, he's a happy boy who would love to go home with you. Because of his slight weight of 9 pounds, however, any children in the home should have had experience with dogs this small. Queso can be a bit shy at first, but he is quick to show you his affection through his prancing around in delight as you come near. What a good boy he is! (posted 7/20/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **July 20, 2025, 1:01 pm
