My story

I'm available for adoption at ACC's Mobile Adoption Event on Saturday, July 19 from 11am - 5pm at The Spot BK, 232 Varet St, Brooklyn, NY 11206. Sponsored by Best Friends Animal Society! Adoptions are in-person and first come, first served, so make sure to get there early. You can apply for me now, but it will not put me on hold for you. I can't wait to meet you!Meet Play-Doh!Play-Doh came to us after a Good Samaritan found him and his siblings abandoned in a box by a dumpster. While two kittens disappeared before help arrived, Play-Doh and his buddy Silly Putty were safely rescued and placed into a foster home where they've been thriving ever since. Now, this resilient little survivor is ready to squish and smoosh his way into your heart! My Ideal Home:Play-Doh is looking for a home that understands kitten antics-zoomies, snuggles, and everything in between. He'd love a place with plenty of toys, cozy naps, and people to love him forever. Bonus points if you have another friendly cat or kitten buddy to keep him company!Good with Kids?Yes! Play-Doh is young, social, and adaptable-he should do well with gentle, respectful children who know how to interact with kittens.Good with Other Pets?Play-Doh lived with his sibling in foster and has shown normal, playful kitten behavior. He would likely enjoy having another young cat to play with, or can ease into a home with existing pets through slow introductions.Litter Box Trained?Yes! Play-Doh has been reliably using his litter box in foster care.Leash Manners:Not applicable for this tiny tabby explorer!Overall Health:Play-Doh is now neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and parasite prevention. He had some mild GI issues in foster-occasional vomiting and soft stool-but responded well to fluids, probiotics, and monitoring. He's now thriving and passed his pre-surgical check with flying colors.Behavior Determination:Play-Doh has been described as alert, playful, and affectionate in his foster home. He's curious and energetic with a soft side, just like his namesake!Fun Facts:He was part of the "craft kit" litter-his sibling is named Silly Putty! He went from a box by a dumpster to a cozy foster home-and now he's ready for his forever family. He'll be making his debut at the upcoming Best Friends adoption event!Play-Doh's story may have started in a box, but the rest is up to you-come meet this sweet kitten and give him the happy ending he deserves. Primary Color: Tri Color Secondary Color: Tabby Weight: 2 Age: 0yrs 0mths 9wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Play-Doh, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
