My story

Delilah’s journey hasn’t been easy. She came to us as a stray from Milwaukee Animal Control with a severe injury to her front leg. Despite the pain she endured, Delilah showed nothing but strength and sweetness. Now a proud tripod, she’s healing beautifully and proving every day that three legs are more than enough to live a full, happy life. Delilah is gentle, affectionate, and incredibly resilient. She enjoys the simple things—soft beds, kind people, and time to explore at her own pace. She’s dog-selective, so slow, thoughtful introductions to other pups are a must—but with the right match, she could enjoy canine companionship too. She’s looking for a home that sees past her scars and sees the amazing, loving soul she truly is. Delilah is more than ready to start her next chapter—with people who will love her for the strong, beautiful survivor she is. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough.
