How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team. Why this pet is the one for you:Javier is a sensitive and loving companion who forms strong attachments and thrives on connection. This sweet boy arrived alongside his closest companion and has shown just how deeply he feels. Javier greets with a low tail wag, ears forward, and an eagerness to be close-often climbing right into your lap if you give him the chance. He's especially gentle when approached with a soft voice and a little patience, melting quickly into affectionate cuddles. When separated from his bonded friend, Javier becomes visibly worried, pacing and whining at the door, clearly longing to stay close. Outdoors, he prefers staying near his person over exploring, often circling behind or pawing gently for reassurance. Despite occasional moments of hesitation, he tries his best to be brave, especially when someone kind is nearby to encourage him. Javier would do best in a calm, compassionate home that understands his quiet heart and offers the comfort he craves. He's ready to be someone's shadow, lap dog, and most loyal friend.
