Meet Freya, a 7-month-old husky who’s smart, energetic, and very much still a work in progress. She’s got that classic husky mix of charm and chaos—goofy, vocal, sometimes aloof about being handled, and always on the lookout for her next adventure (or shoe). Freya is looking for an active adopter who’s ready to give her the physical exercise and mental enrichment she needs to thrive. Freya loves other dogs and may do well in a home with a playful canine buddy. She’s currently in the chewy, mischievous adolescent stage and has done some damage to shoes and even a wall, so crate training, structure, and daily outlets for her energy should be a top priority. It’s unclear if she was truly struggling with separation anxiety or just plain bored, but either way, she’s not a dog you can leave to her own devices for long stretches. She hasn’t lived with kids or cats, so we’re recommending a home with older kids (10+) and no cats. If you’ve got husky experience, great—but if not, be prepared for a dog who’s as entertaining as she is challenging. With the right guidance, Freya has the potential to grow into an amazing companion. Ready to Adopt?
