My story

Meet Cyrus Cyrus is a 2-year-old American Bulldog mix who has already lived through more than any dog should—but his future is looking bright. This 90 lb sweetheart was part of a cruelty investigation and was thankfully rescued just in time by authorities after being found tied up outside in dangerously high heat. Despite what he’s been through, Cyrus holds no grudges—just love. ? He’s an incredibly lovable boy who adores people and lights up around attention. Cyrus is good with other dogs, did just fine meeting cats, and we feel would be gentle with children. His size may be large, but so is his heart. ? He’s food motivated (a dream for training!) and eager to please, though he’s strong and can pull on leash—so a confident owner will be best for this big fella. He’s ready for someone who can match his strength with compassion and guide him into the next chapter of his life. ? After all he’s endured, Cyrus deserves a home filled with love, shade, snacks, and second chances.
