My story

Say hello to Duke, a 5-month-old Dachshund mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. This little guy is as sweet as they come – a gentle soul who’s still learning about the world, one paw-step at a time.Duke may be young, but he already shows great promise. He’s doing well on a leash (though sometimes a bit nervous) and is learning quickly how to be a polite walking companion. He’s also making fantastic progress with potty training and prefers to go outside, but as with any pup his age, he’ll need a little more guidance as he grows.While Duke can be a tad shy when first meeting new people, it doesn’t take long before he’s leaning in for snuggles. Like most Dachshunds, he’s a professional cuddler and definitely a `Velcro dog` who thrives on love and attention. If he feels like he’s not getting enough of your affection? Don’t worry — he’s got quite the voice to let you know!Duke would do best in a patient, loving home that can help him continue to build confidence and give him the training, structure, and affection every young pup needs.
