My story

Duke came to us as a stray, so we don’t know much about his past everything we’ve learned is from what we’ve observed here at the shelter. We believe Duke is a 2-year-old, intact male Lab Mix. He’s a sweet and gentle soul who just needs a little time to warm up to new people. Duke did great with the Greenville Youth Cheerleading when they came in to visit. Once he feels comfortable, his playful side shines through! Duke has shown us he knows how to sit, loves to play ball, and will never say no to a treat or two. He’s currently learning how to walk on a leash and doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. With patience and love, Duke will make a wonderful companion. Come meet this handsome boy and see if he’s the right fit for your home! Duke did great for his nail trim and exam where he weighs in at 45lbs. where he was given Bordatella, parvo/lepto/distemper vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and is heartworm negative. Our adoptions are $100 cash/local check only. Our visiting hours are Monday- Friday 8am- 11:45am and 1pm- 4pm. We are located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville OH. 45331.
