Name:  Dove        Best Guess for Breed:  Chihuahua mix   Best Guess for Age:  3.5 years as of July 2025       SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight:  7 lbs   Gets Along With:  Dove does well with other dogs. We haven't seen her with cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! We do not recommend her for a home with children under the age of 12.    Currently Living at:   South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here!   Special adoption considerations:  Dove has an old break in her right front leg that makes the leg look different but she gets around on it without any problems at all!   See this happy cutie in this video!  https://www.youtube.com/shorts/SGe6YMM3ygI   Dove is Looking For:  Her fresh start, with her own humans! This sweetie arrived into our care with a nasty wound on her back, which we're treating. She also has an old break in her right front leg. Yeah, there's a back story there that we don't know. But she's firmly closed that chapter and is eager to start her new one - the one where she gets those sniffy walks by her humans (she is not a purse dog!) and all those adventures with them. And lots of snuggles. And all the good things that come with being a well-loved dog. In exchange, she promises all the adoring gazes and love and loyalty in her little body. What do you say? What My Foster Says About Me:  We will update this once she has spent some time in foster careLucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
