My story

Reba is a spirited 2-year-old red terrier mix whose fiery coat and lively demeanor perfectly match her bold name—sharing a playful nod with legendary country icon Reba McEntire. A bundle of energy, she’s always ready to sprint after balls, tug on ropes, or explore new trails with cheerful determination. Her terrier tenacity shines through in every game of chase and every mission to dig up buried treasures in the backyard (sorry, flowerbeds!). With keen intelligence and curiosity, Reba quickly picks up on tricks and routines, and she adores showing off her smarts—just like her namesake’s confident stage presence.But don’t let that playful energy fool you—Reba also has a soft, affectionate side that wins hearts every day. She’s happiest when she’s settled next to you on the couch, head resting in your lap, content with gentle scratches behind the ears. Whether she’s greeting you with enthusiastic wiggles or leaning in for quiet comfort after a busy day, her loyalty and gentle spirit are always on full display. Reba is the perfect mix of vivacious fun and tender companionship—truly a star in her own right.ADOPTION PACKAGEThank you for your interest in adopting your next pet from The Haven. Each dog adoption fee of $175 includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, rabies vaccine and tag (age 3 months and up), microchip, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm preventative, a free starter bag of Hills Science Diet, and coupons from area businesses.Please make sure you review the following as part of the adoption process:· Adopter must be 18 years of age or older.· A current government-issued photo ID (no student IDs) - such as a driver`s license, state ID, passport, military ID, etc.· Have a Meet and Greet with the animal and our adoption coordinator (These can be a virtual Meet and Greet session due to COVID-19)· Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier with them when picking up their new pet.· The Haven accepts cash, check, debit/credit cards, or money orders.* For adopters of cats and dogs aged 6 months or less, or those with a medical condition preventing immediate spaying or neutering, The Haven requires a signed Spay/Neuter (S/N) Agreement and a $100 cash deposit, refundable upon completion of the spay/neuter procedure.
