My story

This handsome husky/shepherd mix is Lincoln! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy with ID on 6/24, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. Lincoln is a sweet boy, but is frightened and unsure of the loud, overwhelming shelter environment. We'd sure love to find him a home where he can decompress and learn to trust again. If Lincoln pulls at your heartstrings and you have room to share in your home, please come meet him! Lincoln is approximately 3 years old and weighs 63 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, has been microchipped, and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered upon adoption. Lincoln is waiting patiently in run 875; his ID # is 11390. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
