My story

I`m 1 1/2-year-old Barney, a 71 pound mixed breed brindle pup with a kind face, gorgeous big eyes, and I’m here prepared to hang with you on any adventures you have in mind. Count me in as playful, smart, friendly, fit, lean, happy, curious, and most of all eager to start my life outside the shelter. I came to the shelter more than a year ago and its time to move in with my forever family.I need to tell you about my amazing summer vacation at a 5 star foster home! I received lots of love, I discovered that I love bubble baths, long car rides, Zen music with lavender aromatherapy and my favorite spot in the house was the couch. I had perfect in home manners and did not destroy or eat anything that wasn`t presented in my food bowl. My foster family wants you to know that that I deserve a really amazing home to match my truly amazing personality. I am looking for a family to love on me, adopt me and teach me more commands besides ‘sit’ as I’d love to learn to ‘roll over’ so that you can more easily give me lots of belly rubs. I need sturdy, stable and kind adults who will enjoy outdoor activities with me. Let’s check each other out and play some fetch at the park so we can kick off our love affair! I haven’t had much experience with other dogs and am unsure of how to act around them. I would be best as the only dog in your home while I figure out how to live outside the shelter.
