🦞 Meet Lobster (aka Rusty) – Your Gentle, Quirky Sidekick! 🐾 Lobster is an almost 3-year-old Toy Aussie weighing in at just 18 pounds—the perfect little shadow dog. He’s (ALMOST) fully vetted, house-trained, crate-trained, and ready to snuggle his way into your heart. When he arrived in rescue, Lobster was in pretty rough shape… but just one week of love, grooming, and gentle care, and he was glowing. ✨ He’s patient (even when bath time isn’t his fave), and clearly had some training in his past. No accidents, no chewing drama—just a sweet boy who wants to be part of the family. ✅ Dog, cat, and kid approved ✅ Potty & crate trained ✅ Snuggly, calm, and gentle ✅ Affectionate but introverted ✅ Curious, quirky, and respectful indoors ✅ Needs a little leash work, but we blame Texas heat 😅 Lobster is chill with everyone—dogs, cats, and even young kids. He has growled a couple of times around food when another dog got too close, but a quick verbal cue ends it immediately. It’s not full-blown resource guarding—just a pup learning he’s safe and food is always coming. We recommend giving him space while eating (as you should with any dog), especially with little ones.
