My story

Buddy Maui is a precious 20 lb mini schnauzer that came from Bastrop Animal Shelter. He is completely blind and struggling with some skin issues, likely due to allergies, but he’s gentle, quiet, and so deserving of a second chance.Schnauzers are known for being loyal, loving companions, and even with his challenges, this boy just wants a safe, soft place to land.His foster Mom says that despite being blind he walks well on a leash, he is quiet, appears housetrained, and is good with kids. He knows is name "Buddy". She says that Buddy is one of the BEST dogs she has had. He just wants a soft bed to nap in, lots of cuddles, and a few treats here and there. He’s never had an accident in the house and loves squeaky toys!
