My story

Meet Fanboy! Fanboy is a beautiful and unique looking dog who is loving his new life after being abandoned, and is looking for his forever family! Fanboy was left tied to the door of an abandoned motel. The Motel owners believed he had belonged to a homeless man living in the area, who decided he could no longer care for him and left him behind. He waited patiently, watching as cars and people passed by for over 24 hours before someone finally contacted rescue. After arriving with us, he was understandable nervous, but after one good cuddle session, he quickly became a staff favorite due to his fun loving and goofy personality! Fanboy is a high energy dog who loves to go for walks and runs! He would be GREAT for someone in need of a jogging buddy! He is also good with large and small dogs, however he is a rough player so we want to be sure any dog in the home is comfortable with his rough and tumble play style. Fanboy likely mostly lived outside before coming to us, so he will probably need to work on potty training. He has already started working on basic commands and leash skills. We would love to find Fanboy an active family who will help him be the great family companion we know he is!
