She was diagnosed on intake with diabetes mellitus. She is also obese and has stage III dental disease. She will need continued insulin therapy, a prescription diet, and regular veterinary checkups with placement. Behaviorally, Ms. Kitty Kat is shy at first but warms up quickly for petting and brushing.
