My story

Simba is open to interaction and appears to appreciate attention but escalates easily. Because his previous owner reports he is playful, social, appreciates attention in a home environment, we believe the behavior seen in the care center is shelter-specific or could be related to barrier frustration and this cat would make a great pet, but is really struggling in the shelter environment. This cat is suitable for adopters with previous cat experience who are willing to work with a cat who needs time and patience to help him adjust to their new home. A volunteer writes: Simba's condo is a whirlwind of animated stretches, toy demonstrations, and exuberant cuddles. Holding his favorite rope toy above his head in a very puppy-like move, Simba flopped into my arm in his own version of a trust fall. He seems to take comfort in his belief that everyone will return his love and also be able to keep up with him. Simba wants to bounce and play, reach and cuddle. All at the same time and without any regard for doors or walls. With paws going in every direction, Simba very much wants to invite people over but isn't always sure which of his moves to bring out, so we get them all. Simba's hoping to find a family of his own who will welcome him and his ever growing catalog of party cat games and snuggles. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 15.7 Age: 1yrs 0mths 1wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Simba, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
