My story

Meet Stinkalink! Stinkalink is a 8 year old Yorkshire Terrier mix who was pulled as part of “Angel Retreat’s ACCT’s of love” program. Stinkalink originally came in as a stray, after someone saw him limping in Philadelphia, which has since resolved. We got him the medical care he desperately needed including a dental and treatment for lyme disease, and he is now doing wonderful in his foster home! He is a sweet senior fellow who is just looking for a warm bed and a family to love! He has a mild heart murmur and arthritis, but this is nothing abnormal for a gentleman of his age. We do not know his past, but we do know he is a happy little guy who is confident and loves to be around people. As with all rescue dogs, they will need a family who is understanding and prepared to work through a period of transition with them as they learn to live in a house and around people. They will need time to trust their new family before working on training, such as house training. We require all our animals to be trained using positive reinforcement methods ONLY.
