My story

Sunny is a 3-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier / Rhodesian Ridgeback / Black Cur mix who was rescued by the brave crew at the Phoenix Fire Department after deciding sidewalks were too hot to handle. This big, goofy boy went from street wanderer to firehouse favorite faster than you can say “Code Red — cute dog on scene!” Now this strong, silly, four-legged firefighter is ready to retire from emergency calls and report for duty as your full-time couch warmer, adventure buddy, and professional snuggle specialist. With a tail that wags harder than a fire truck siren, Sunny is always fired up and ready to spark joy wherever he goes. He’s equal parts athlete and lover boy — obsessed with squeaky toys (his version of a fire alarm), walks perfectly on leash like a well-trained first responder, and rides shotgun like he’s scanning for squirrels in distress. One look from those big eyes and he’ll have you putting out your own plans just to play fetch and extinguish boredom together.
