My story

DOB 19-Nov-2023 I'm a sweet and playful girl who’s come a long way in learning how wonderful it is to be loved. When I first arrived at my foster home, I was shy and cautious—I kept my distance and wasn’t quite ready for pets or interaction. But thanks to the help of the friendly resident cats, I’ve slowly opened up and discovered the joy of scritches (especially on my ears!), treats, and toys. These days, I’ve found my voice—literally! I’m quite the talker and sometimes meow just to hear myself speak. My foster parents say I sound a little like a rooster, but I think I sound just like a cat should. I’m especially vocal if dinner is running late—you’ll definitely hear about it! Playtime is a favorite of mine, especially chasing that mysterious red dot and batting around catnip toys. I'm still working on using my scratching post properly, so I’ll need continued guidance there. I'm not a fan of being picked up and I'm not a lap cat—but I do enjoy relaxing near you, especially if you're chilling on the couch. I'm truly a cat's cat and would thrive in a home with a friendly, young feline companion who can be my buddy and help me continue to blossom. If you're looking for a quiet but quirky girl with a big heart (and a lot to say), I might be your perfect match. Note from foster parent: Fenella is an absolute sweetheart. She loves to play, cuddle & be groomed by our cats She is still timid around guests & children. She isn't a fan of being alone, so she will likely be extra vocal during the acclimating phase.
