PWRESCUE.ORG **PHOENIX METRO AREA ONLY** Meet Guinness – Your New Best Friend is Waiting! Guinness is a gorgeous 7.5-year-old, 75-pound shepherd mix with a heart as big as her paws. After patiently waiting for over a year and a half, she’s still holding out hope that her perfect person is out there—and it just might be you. Surrendered through no fault of her own, Guinness has proven time and again that she’s an absolute sweetheart. Incredibly affectionate and deeply loyal, she’s happiest simply being by your side. Whether it’s soaking up belly rubs, enjoying a leisurely stroll, or curling up nearby, Guinness lives to love and be loved. She’s currently carrying a few extra pounds (more to love!), but she’s eager to get back to her girlish figure—and would love a walking buddy to help her along the way. Daily walks and playtime aren’t just great for her health—they’re her favorite part of the day! Guinness prefers to be the star of the show when it comes to smaller dogs, but with a calm, respectful dog her own size—or larger—she may be open to friendship, given the right introduction. She would thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention and showered with the love she so deserves. A family with older, dog-savvy kids (12+) would be ideal—especially those who appreciate the loyalty and strength of a big-hearted companion. While she’s past her puppy antics, she still has plenty of pep for adventures and affection. After all she’s been through, this amazing girl is simply looking for a soft place to land and a forever family to call her own. Could that be you?
