My story

Very interactive, curious young orange tabby boy, about 2-3 years old. Hi my name is Garfield I am a great companion for a person looking for a very affectionate, playful cat. Good helper around the house, laundry, making a bed-I can do it all, well be a part of that, sit in your laundry basket, I do not want to miss anything. I am a teenage kitten with lots of energy, so toys, strings and a cat tree is a must for me. I will chase a laser pointer, play with toys and climb on cat tree up and down to burn my energy and will make you laughing showing you my silly games. I am a very handsome orange tabby boy with orange eyes, check out few pictires of me and my video here, since I am a tabby cat I have a distinctive 'M' marking on my forehead. All tabbies have thin pencil lines on their faces, expressive markings around the eyes, and a distinct letter "M" on their foreheads. Some believe the "M" is for Mau, the word for "cat" in ancient Egypt. Others think the "M" stands for Mohammed, who loved tabbies. Still others believe it is the blessing of the Virgin Mary. So you see I am very special boy! But enough about my looks, my personality, that’s what sets me apart. I have a personality of a kitten, playful, social and my personality is very dog-like. I am very interactive, social and love to be with people a lot, see what they are up to and stick my little orange nose into everything you do and everywhere you go. I like to give head butts and play with paper bags or sit in boxes or baskets. I also enjoy toys with catnip, you know a cat like me loves toys including catnip. I like to stretch, jump and just have fun. So if you are looking for a very playful kitty and got toys, strings and laser pointer to play with me - I am in! I am a very active boy, don't like to sit still, always checking things around the house, jumping, running, playing, chasing and making you laugh. I am always investigating things around the house, playing hide and seek. So if you are ready for an active playful boy to keep you company I am your guy, just make sure to get plenty of toys for me, strings and a cat tree. But once its time to relax, I turn into purring little guy, kneading on your soft blanket and laying next to you. And than its time to relax, I will climb on your lap and watch TV with you, snuggle with you and I love to get my chin and head petted, see my video here to learn more about me or just contact my foster home. I am a very social, affectionate and I am a very interactive kitty. If you got one of those cat toys that look like mice- well I will chase it, throw it in the air and will keep you laughing. I am one of a kind, full of personality young boy who is looking for a forever home to keep you company! I love hanging with people and always be in the center of attention. Did you know that orange tabby cats are also Famous? Famous cats are mainly orange tabbies. Garfield leads the many popular ginger cats. Garfield starred in comic strips, in TV cartoons, and in movies. Another famous orange tabby is Milo, half of the cat and dog tandem Milo and Otis. Milo was characteristically sweet, goofy, and adorable. Morris became famous for his finicky eating habits. The orange cat will eat only one brand of cat food, which eventually made him their commercial model. Orange cats have also been featured in several movies, including Orangey of "Breakfast at Tiffany's," Jones from the movie "Alien," and Spot from "Star Trek: The Next Generation." To learn more about Garfield, please contact 610-324-4726 or catchancerescue@gmail.com Garfield is neutered, up to date on his shots (Distemper and Rabies), and Microchiped. Litter box trained. FIV-FeLV negative.
